There Area bounded between the Egyptian Nile River, Israel to the the Euphrates River was the area that Abraham was promised and this same area is the Land of Eden.
Even though the topography of the area changed after the Flood and Tower of Babel we know enough from scripture to categorically confirm the location of Eden.
Some of the clues from scripture that the promised land is Eden, is as follows;
- Two of the four Rivers of Eden are known by the location of their namesake in scripture, Gihon and Euphrates.
- The trees of the Garden of Eden are alluded to in the design of Israel's temple which is in Jerusalem which is on the western edge of the land that Abraham traversed.
- The promised land is compared to Eden.
- The Land and Temple are the centre of a Cosmic Dispute.
